Together they’ve edited and published many bridge books by other writers. Matthew has lectured at National bridge tournaments in the U.S. and has worked as a coach for bridge teams and a promoter of the Bridge Today All-Star events.

In 1993 the Granovetters moved to Israel. In 2005 they returned to the USA, moved to Cincinnati, and rekindled their bridge-playing careers. In 2006, Matthew won a gold medal for first place in the World Mixed Pairs in Venice, and in 2008 a silver medal for second place in the World Senior Teams at the Beijing Mind Game Olympics. In 2009 Matthew won the prestigious Spingold Teams trophy in Washington D.C.

Pamela Granovetter is a bridge writer and publisher. She was born in Cleveland in 1953 and began her bridge career in 1978, representing Canada at the Women’s Team Olympiad in Valkenburg, Netherlands, at the age of 25.
